Timelapse taken over a period of two weeks in November 2018 at the Michael Dennett Boatyard. Following from the cataloguing and the removal of the original forward deck planks, Breda went back onto the slipway for a series of major works.
This first part shows the removal of the old frame work due to rot, removal of the bulkheads also affected or in the wrong place. Then the frenzy takes place… Hull repairs, sanding and coating. New frame of beams made, measured in place then adjusted to fit. Once all secured, ten coats of high gloss varnish applied. The bulkheads were then put into place and painted white, ready for the internal joinery.
